The Community Outreach Programs provide students the opportunity to get involved in community service on a regular basis.


Juhu Beach cleaning


"Community Service Club of SVKM’s NMIMS Centre for International Studies (CIS) is a student-led organization dedicated in promoting volunteerism and community service within the college. The students had a beach clean-up activity on 12th February at Juhu Beach.
The Clean Mumbai Foundation was in collaboration with the Community Service Club of NMIMS CIS to guide and motivate the volunteers. They hav even helped in the disposal of the collected waste. "


Further, the Community Outreach Program allows students to explore various local non-profit community and learn more about them. As a part of our community outreach programs, the students visited Art for Akansha and National Society for Equal Opportunities for the Handicapped (NASEOH).

The Akanksha Foundation (Art for Akansha) is a non-profit organisation with a mission to provide children from low-income communities with a high-quality education, enabling them to maximize their potential and transform their lives.

NASEOH, established in 1968, is a non-profit organisation with a mission to develop comprehensive rehabilitation opportunities for the persons with disabilities so as to facilitate integration into the mainstream of the society.
