LIFE AT CIS – EXPERIENTIAL LERNING – HR CONNECT 2023 

SVKM's NMIMS Centre for International Studies, through its annual intellectual gathering HR Connect’ 23, successfully organised a panel discussion on "Building an Inclusive, Equitable, and Diverse Workplace." The panel discussion was held on March 18 at Juhu Jagruti Auditorium (JJH). The discussion aimed to explore opportunities for knowledge creation through interaction with HR practitioners. The panelists for the discussion were Ms. Gauri Das (Vice President and Head of Human Resources at India Factoring and Finance Solutions Private Limited), Ms. Akshatha Karangutkar (Associate Director at Samhita Social Ventures), Dr. Gayatri Puranik (Executive Director - Head Human Resources at Julius Baer Wealth Management Ltd.), Ms. Sneha Pujari (People Partner Manager at Teradata), Mr. Biju Dominic (Chief Evangelist, Fractal Analytics & Chairman at FinalMile Consulting), and the panel moderator was Ms. Shrutika Paralkar (DEI Manager, Fractal Analytics). Overall, the panel discussion was informative and left the audience with strong industry insight on dynamic HR practices.

HR Connect 2024–25, held on 16th November 2024 at Juhu Jagruti Hall, brought together 111 participants for a dynamic panel discussion on "Redefining Workspaces – Talent, Technology & Transformation.

” Esteemed HR leaders shared insights on adapting to AI, fostering inclusive cultures, and retaining talent in a rapidly evolving workplace. The session explored key themes such as automation, diversity, and future-ready organizational strategies. Student moderators facilitated engaging rounds of discussion" followed by an interactive Q&A and networking session. The event inspired attendees to embrace innovation and inclusivity in HR practices, leaving a lasting impact on aspiring professionals.
